When you don't have warehouse inventory management software, that aligns to your business and your logistics flow, managers are forced to adapt logistics operations based on the software' features and limitation. As your competitors are using similar software, it becomes harder to differentiate and offer unique logistical solutions for your customers.
Cost reduction of stock deposit through sales forecasting algorithm.
Increased speed for decision making through auto-forecasting, with a review & approve feature.
Revenue growth through price forecasting, based on market demand.
Have you ever had a hard time setting revenue goals? Upper management usually hits this wall every quarter, or year, at least. Estimating future revenue is hard and causes many logistical issues, due to uncertainty and too many factors.
Today, using a warehouse management system for managing inventory and forecasting demand accurately is crucial for efficiency and cost savings. Our solution, developed for Watchsayer, is an AI based warehouse inventory management system focused on automating inventory and tracking revenue prediction.
Most revenue decisions are based on historical data, which is analyzed by company analysts. This includes huge clusters of market data, previous year sales, and competitors' share of the market. It’s too much for people to get reliable decisions out of these.
Luckily, evolving technology is coming to aid executives. With the help of AI we can offer custom logistics software development services, so companies can predict trends that were traditionally analyzed and calculated manually. These platforms are helping companies grow faster by providing a more realistic base for decision-making, and even forecasting future changes. One such platform is Watchsayer, for whom we developed a custom warehouse management system with capabilities for multi-channel inventory management and data analytics.
Watchsayer’s biggest asset is its algorithm. With a strong base in AI, the platform needed a strong process automation solution that covered all its features. Due to the nature of the app, the data that resulted from the predictive processes need to be very reliable. High stake decisions are based on them.
For the whole thing to work, the company’s stakeholders needed to have a way to import data into the platform. Cleaning the data before it becomes usable is something an app does well in order to extract the right information.
After Watchsayer gets enough historical data, the magic begins. With a fast load time, the app predicts future sales and inventory changes, so that sales and warehouse managers can plan ahead and stock up. With a powerful analytics interface, the information helps marketing decide when to run campaigns and on which products as well, ensuring a stable revenue stream for the company.
SaaS development is usually a lengthy process. Even more so, the MVP development included inventory management system development, so integrations played a big role in the process.
As a logistics software development company, we had to develop an MVP that would contain the right logistics workflow automation which is the core functionality of the app.
Next, we focused on showing the results of those processes. We’ve built a fully functional analytics dashboard, and using AWS, we made sure that data is safely stored and can be well integrated with other tools in the future. Speed was our top priority while building these features, and we managed to have the app move very fast.
Testing the app was a large part of the SaaS development process. Using Jest, we made sure the app ran well in many scenarios and environments. While building products, we write Unit Testing with a minimum of 60% code coverage, which will ensure high product quality.
Our team delivered a stable MVP for the app. With a clear and fast communication channel alongside the Watchsayer team, we’ve managed to deliver this large project in less time than first estimated. The MVP was free of critical or show stopping bugs due to our high focus on testing the app in different environments.
