MyPCEasy is a clinic management platform tailored for physiotherapy centers in Italy. This project is a prime example of custom healthcare software development, designed to simplify appointment scheduling and clinic operations for various users such as managers, secretaries, doctors, physiotherapists, and technicians.

The client's vision was to digitize and streamline their internal processes through a scalable platform. Our team’s background in healthcare software development allowed us to address their specific needs while ensuring regulatory compliance.

MyPCEasy is not only just a simple EHR Software Solution, but is also an end-to-end solution, as it helps the managers to have access to the statistics and understand all the financial and productivity aspects of the clinic.

Key highlights

The Challenge

We also wanted to create a "bridge" between clinic appointments and the patients, so we connected the platform with the existing client's mobile application to send notifications to the patients regarding their upcoming appointments and have access to their medical documents.

In compliance with Italian laws, we implemented an invoicing module that sends e-invoices to the SDI (Sistema di Interscambio) used by the Italian Financial Authorities. This also ensures the system is suitable for medical billing software development needs. To comply with Italian regulations, our platform had to be able to generate e-invoices in the correct format and transmit them to the SDI in a secure and reliable manner.

Another challenge that we faced while creating the MyPCEasy was the requirement to send invoices to the STS (Sistema Tessera Sanitaria) for registering all the health actions. The STS is the national system that manages the registration and billing of all health actions in Italy, including medical appointments and treatments. We enabled real-time synchronization with STS, a requirement for health service reporting in Italy. Accurate reporting is essential in any ehr software development process to maintain national compliance.

Solution

  • Calendar Interface Users can browse available appointment slots and manage their schedules using daily or weekly views. They can also duplicate appointments and export or print schedules. This feature-rich calendar is part of our approach to custom medical software development that meets real-world operational demands.

  • Appointment Cycles Recurring sessions and treatments can be easily set up and tracked. This improves patient experience and reduces admin workload—common challenges addressed in hospital management software development.

  • Admin & Management Dashboard Managers can access financial reports, productivity metrics, and statistics to monitor clinic performance effectively. These tools align with best practices found in ehr software development and support healthcare teams in making data-driven

The result

For this project we have full ownership, preparing everything, from writing requirements, defining design, and developing the product to support the app launch.

The result is a dynamic and user-friendly cloud-based ehr software solution that is now actively used in clinics across Italy. By adopting a modular and scalable architecture, the client has successfully reduced operational overhead and improved service quality.

We managed to launch the first version successfully of this project and now we are working on the second version of the app.
