MyPCEasy is a user-friendly and efficient app that allows different types of users (manager, secretaries, doctors, physiotherapists, and technicians) to easily schedule and manage their appointments with all patients of the clinic. All the clinics in Italy that onboard on the platform, can define their departments with all the required resources to be able to function - doctors, services, machines, etc.

It features an intuitive calendar interface, where the users can browse available times, add new appointments for a patient or duplicate them for an existent patient. Along with this, the users are able to view the calendar in daily and weekly views, but also to export and print it.

A patient has multiple services at the clinic at different times. No worries. The users are able to set a cycle of appointments for the patients and never lose the track of the events on their individual detailed pages.

MyPCEasy is not only an appointment app, but is also an end-to-end solution, as it helps the managers to have access to the statistics and understand all the financial and productivity aspects of the clinic.

The Challenge

We also wanted to create a "bridge" between clinic appointments and the patients, so we connected the platform with the existing client's mobile application to send notifications to the patients regarding their following appointments and have access to their medical documents.

One of the challenges was to send e-invoices directly from the app to the Italian Financial Authorities - SDI. To comply with Italian regulations, our platform had to be able to generate e-invoices in the correct format and transmit them to the SDI in a secure and reliable manner. This involved a significant amount of development work, as the e-invoicing system in Italy is quite complex and there are many different rules and requirements that must be followed.

Another challenge that we faced while creating the MyPCEasy was the requirement to send invoices to the STS (Sistema Tessera Sanitaria) for registering all the health actions. The STS is the national system that manages the registration and billing of all health actions in Italy, including medical appointments and treatments. One of the main challenges for this was to ensure that the invoices generated by our app were in the correct format and contained all of the required information, such as the correct tax codes, invoice numbers, and codes for the type of health actions performed.

The result

For this project we have full ownership, preparing everything, from writing requirements, defining design, and developing the product to support the app launch.

We managed to launch the first version successfully of this project and now we are working on the second version of the app.

The app is a success, having multiple clinics registered, and using it at its full usability, making their staff's life easier when comes to patient appointments.

The story of MyPCEasy is not yet over, since we working on its second release, including new features that will help each clinic even more.
